chocolate chips
carmel chips
nuts
cinnimon and sugar mixture
heath bar chips
etc...

RE: Coleman propane appliances -- unable to turn down low enough
I used our coleman slow cooker once and returned it. Couldn't get the temperature low enough. I just bring my electric crock pot now.
I haven't tried my coleman skillet yet.

Joined a great camping club neflcc.com (North East Florida Camping Club) and we are having our first Rally in March. So we'll be heading out to meet a great group of folks.
Move to Florida. We can camp all year round. Temperatures expected today: 70's. :C
I think Rocky definitely was calling your name. I hear Lucy, (our fiver) every weekend. LOL
I'll say a pray for the early Spring gods to come your way.

We just didn't want to make the 2.5 hr trip if it wasn't going to be worth the travel. I guess we'll just wait for the Jacksonville RV Show.

We're looking to trade in our fiver for a new one. Has anyone been to the Ocala RV Show before? If so, how big of a show and are the deals good?

Agrnbrt,
We are pretty new to RV'ing so we called the RV dealer and they said not to worry that it wasn't going to be freezing long enough to worry about.
I wasn't too secure with that response so that is why I asked the question on this RV forum. It's not a matter of "being Lazy". We just got into town this afternoon and we've never winterized our RV before. We already drained the tanks but we've never put antifreeze in before and we aren't really sure how to go about doing it. We live in Florida and we don't get too many freezing temps.
You stated you weren't trying to be rude but it sure came across as just that.

winterize or not to winterize
We live in Jacksonville FL and we have never winterized our fiver. At what point should we winterize? It is forcasted to get down into the 20's then warm up tomorrow in the 40's. These temperatures are expected until Friday when it will be back into the 70's.
Should we winterize tonight. We will be using our RV in a couple of weeks to head out camping again.
